Google has released their first foray into the foldable smartphone market with the Google Pixel Fold. With Google’s powerful Tensor G2 processor, two beautifully immersive displays, and all the improvements to their camera performance and modes, the Google Pixel Fold is power and innovation folded into one.

It’s the first foldable phone engineered by Google – with the power of the Google Tensor G2 chip in a thin, pocket-size design. On the outside, it’s a full Pixel phone. Display

The Google Pixel Fold’s defining feature is its brilliant 7.6-inch foldable OLED display, which includes HDR support and a full 24-bit colour depth so you can watch all your favourite media like it is on the big screen. Meanwhile, with multitasking technology, you can use two apps, split your Chrome tabs, or chat with a friend while you work, all in one place.

For your general quick and simple usage, you still have a 5.8-inch display on the cover which is as impressive as any previous Pixel model, so you’re not missing out. Additionally, this screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, making it resistant to knocks and scratches.

 

SPLIT SCREEN

Split Screen lets you do two things at once.

Drag two apps up from the taskbar to quickly open them side by side. Or open two tabs in Chrome.

 

Camera

The 48 MP triple camera makes it possible to be an instant expert in photography and recording videos with numerous features and capabilities. With extra lenses, the Google Pixel Fold offers pro-level abilities to capture every memory in full detail.

Magic Eraser ensures your photos only feature your friends and family, not any unwelcome guests. Enhance all your photos, including ones taken on other devices, with the Face Unblur.

If you’re one for taking selfies, you can do it on three cameras! With the options of front and internal cameras (as you may expect), but also now the rear camera. Just unfold the device, and you can now use the rear camera for your favourite selfies with your friends, while you can see the results on the external display.
