2021 flagship from Xiaomi

The first flagship of 2021 is here: The Xiaomi Mi 11 impresses with a rich configuration. The new Snapdragon 888, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 ROM, a 108-megapixel triple camera, and a large battery including record-breaking charging technology are just some of the highlights of the smartphone from the Far East.

 

Quad Edge Design

The Quad Edge design not only sounds good, it also looks extremely good. All four ends of the display have been slightly curved and thus convey an absolutely classy appearance. The flawless workmanship, the minimal punch hole at the front, and the finally differently designed back of the smartphone make the Mi 11 a real eye-opener that immediately catches the eye.

 

High End Camera

Of course, Xiaomi offers nothing less than one of the best setups ever with the Mi 11. The triple main camera on the back of the casing is led by a 100-megapixel sensor with an f/1.85 aperture. The 1/1.33-inch sensor can capture a lot of light and even excites in low-light conditions. Panoramic shots also succeed in top quality with the 13 megapixel super wide-angle sensor. With a shooting angle of 123 degrees and an f/2.4 aperture, the secondary camera offers panorama shots that will amaze the user. The trio is rounded off by a 5-megapixel telephoto macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. Quality is also on offer on the front. The punch hole camera has a resolution of a crisp 20 megapixels.

 

One of the fastest smartphones 2021

Even though the Mi 11 was already unveiled in December 2020, the superlative smartphone will still be one of the fastest in 2021. The reason for that is the new Snapdragon 888 processor, which was manufactured according to the 5nm manufacturing process. The improved Cortex X1 core is not only more energy-efficient, but should enable a performance increase of around 25% at the same clock rate. The Adreno 660 GPU has also been improved. The successor is about 35% faster. Xiaomi also shows a fast side in terms of memory. The LPDDR5 RAM is large at 12 GB and corresponds to the current state of the art. The same applies to the internal storage. A total of 256 GB UFS 3.1 ROM is installed.

 

Almost a tablet

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is aimed at users who prefer a large display. With a screen diagonal of 6.81 inches, the AMOLED panel is almost the size of a tablet. The resolution is also extraordinary. The 2K display resolves with up to 3200 x 1440 pixels, which corresponds to the WQHD standard. The brightness of the display is also impressive. It can achieve a rich 1500 nits. The color reproduction is just as outstanding. The HDR 10+ standard is supported. On top, the panel is extremely fast. With a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a sampling rate of 480 Hz, it is one of the fastest OLED displays ever.

 

Large display, long battery life

Those who fear a short battery life in view of the screen’s performance data can be reassured. Xiaomi has equipped the Mi 11 with a 4600 mAh battery that even lasts for particularly long days without stopping at the charging cable. However, if the charge level tends towards 0, it can be brought up to 100 in record time thanks to 55 Watt Charge. Wireless Charge is also supported. A rapid 50 watts are offered here. Reverse Charge is also available with up to 10W. Small gadgets like headphones can be charged this way.
